Lancashire Gossip Gals, Online Networking Meeting 10th June
Another Fully booked meeting! Thank you ladies!
These meetings are such a highlight in the week for me. I absolutely love the support, friendship, energy and how uplifted I feel from spending time with the amazing business owners we have at the meeting.
Julie Uw Ibrahim is a part time dental nurse and a Utility Warehouse representative. She can save us money on gas, electricity, phone and broadband. The cash back card is currently helping lots of people save money on their shopping during lockdown! Sometimes as much as 10%. There is also the opportunity to insure your boiler at a fabulous rate - so just book a virtual coffee with this lovely lady to see what she can do to hep you - for a free, no obligation chat.
Tilly Wild is our veterinary physiotherapist under the name Lancashire Vet Physio.
She provides rehabilitation, massage therapy and home based exercise plans for your pets. She is a fully mobile service covering mainly east Lancashire but is willing to cover all of Lancashire. She gets referrals from vets as well as word of mouth recommendations. What a talented lady.
Gail Kelly has two fabulous jewellery businesses. Firstly, On a Carousel which can re-purpose jewellery. Gail wanted to be able to treat jewellery from loved ones, with the respect and empathy it deserved. She really is a unique lady :-)
Sapientia, Gail’s new venture is now launched! She offers high end, pre loved jewellery from top end designers such as Tiffany & Co and Gucci but also new bespoke pieces created from scratch. Ceylon Sapphires, ethically mined are all part of this exciting new venture. Gail showcased some of the amazing Tiffany jewellery and it was very popular with our business ladies at today’s meeting. She also showed us a 3D print of a ring too - which was amazing!
Emma Hooley is our very own FM lady. She is an NHS worker in the daytime but has been growing her FM business for the past four and a half years. She treated us to a live demonstration on the difference between the amount of oil in eau de toilette, eau de parfum and parfum - using orange juice! What a great way to help us understand what’s in the bottle!
Pam Sciambarella from Shoot&Bloom Photography is based in Darwen but works all over Lancashire.
Pam worked as a junior photographer from 2007 doing studio catalogue shoots. She has been a freelance photographer for 2 years, mainly covering business events. However, due to lockdown, she is now able to offer mini “doorstep” shoots for families, couples etc. This service is proving to be very popular and her price for a one hour shoot is just 5 photos for £25 and 10 for £35 with a 20% going to the East Lancashire Hospice! What a fabulous Father’s Day Gift this could be!
Shirley Anne Howard joined us - we are usually at her venue Space2Make in Accrington and we missed your coffee and cake today Shirley! Shirley is having a busy time with her Frenchic paint. In fact business is absolutely booming ! She is also busy getting new workshops ready. you and a family member can learn to paint furniture during July and August for just £65.00 She also has pottery kits available to busy and decorate at home. Shirley will be going live on Friday’s - so keep an eye out !
Dawn Bramwell Smith joined us for the very first time today! Dawn has a varied background from travel agent, beauty therapist, personal trainer, sports massage therapist and a reiki practitioner. She has now established the Beacon Wellbeing business which offers a holistic approach to help you cope with the chaos. Dawn has lost of exciting plans for when lockdown ends, but in the meantime, she is happy to book you in for a virtual chat! It was lovely having you with us today.
Fiona Paton is our aloe lady who wants to keep you looking good and feeling good from the inside out. She told us a little about her own health struggles and her lack of time flexibility when she was a teacher, these led to her starting her own business as a Forever Living Business Owner. She gave us an overview of products offered by her including nutritional supplements, skin care, household goods, pet products and weight management. She suggested that rather than going through them all if people had questions about any struggles they were having or wanted some advice then just drop her a message. She will be hosting online product parties to tell us more - keep an eye out on the LGG page.
Thank you SO much ladies for a lovely meeting. Such a great variety of businesses.
Massive thank you to Emma Whalley for welcoming people whilst I was having a technical hitch and for capturing us all on camera too 😎
Look forward to seeing you on 10th July - virtually of course.
